DESCRIPTION
Cemguard HB 500 is a hybrid coating which is synthesized of inorganic component as a main component and organic component as a subcomponent with molecular unit reaction. It simultaneously has both inorganic properties such as fire resistance, high hardness, abrasion resistance, acid resistance and organic properties such as water resistance, alkali resistance, flexibility, toughness and shock resistance. And it is the eco-friendly product which contains limited hazardous organic solvent.
USES
Cemguard HB 500 provides exceptional adhesion to a variety of concrete substrate including old concrete floor which have been cleaned from stains of dirt and oil. Area of application includes indoor & outdoor floor coatings, floor finishing on parking lot of apartment, office machinery room, electric room, maintenance room, factory, warehouse, chemical lab, general office etc. Also recommended for renovation of old Epoxy floor, as a protection coating on PVC tile, ceramic tile, marble, epoxy, glass etc

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
Cemguard HB 500 will resist spillages of:
• Dilute acids: hydrochloric,nitric, phosphoric and sulphuric.
• Dilute alkalis, including sodium hydroxide
• Most dilute organic acids
• Fats, oil and sugar.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Surface Preparation Substrate should be structurally sound, clean, and free from loose particles, oil, grease and other contaminants. Remove cement laitance, loose particles, and other contaminants from surface by mechanical cleaning preferably stone grinding and followed by vacuming. Mixing Stir each component separately using a high speed (750rpm) electric drill fitted with a paint mixer or a wing type mixing paddle. Then pour the entire content of Part B into Part A and continue to mix for2-3 minutes or until homogeneous before use. To ensure through mixing pour materials into another container and mix again to achieve a consistent mix.Overmixing must be avoided to minimise air entrainment. Thinning If required use max 3% of Cemguard HB 500 thinner Cleaning Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use with Cemguard HB 500 thinner. Hardened / cured material can only be removed mechanically.
POT LIFE
1 Hour.
TEMPERATURE
Cemguard HB 500 should not be applied at material or floor temperatures below 10°C or above 30°C.
PRECAUTION
Electrical and hot works are prohibited when apply Cemguard HB 500. Alcohol in Cemguard HB 500 is flammable during apply and initial curing term around 4 hours.
MAINTENANCE
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of all resin floors, enhance the appearance and reduce the tendency to retain dirt.
STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Shelf life of approx 6 months if stored in dry conditions in the original unopened packaging at 25°C

Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not take internally. Wear skin and eye protection. Conform to local regulations for disposal.
