Lighter:
Flow Forming Technology has a great number of benefits. One of those benefits is that the end result is a wheel which weighs significantly less then one of the same specs in a conventional cast construction. While having a lightweight wheel maybe most noticeably sought after by racers to remove unsprung weight, this same theory applies to any vehicle. Being able to reduce a vehicles unsprung weight doesn't just offer better throttle response and increased power but also lends itself to fuel savings and increased fuel mileage. On average a Flow Formed wheel has a 25% lighter result over a cast wheel in the same design and specifications.

Stronger:
The strength of a Flow Formed wheel is substantially stronger then a typical cast constructed wheel. On average a 20% - 30% increase in tensile strength can be seen on various parts of the wheel over a conventional cast wheel. This works great for every day road hazard and racing applications alike.

Greater Shock Resistance:
The gain in shock resistance is another perfect benefit for hash track environments but it really comes as a benefit for the everyday driving hazards. Increased strength lends itself to additional stress capacity over a regular conventional cast constructed wheel.

Increased Elongation:
Elongation is one area where Flow Forming not only shines but really separates itself from a traditional casted wheel. Elongation is essentially the amount that a wheel is able to flex before arriving at a breaking point. Flow Forming Technology provides an increase in elongation, both in the barrel and rear flange area which is an exceptional benefit for racing and hash conditions as well as the road hazards of the street.

Higher Load Rating:
Due to the fact that producing wheels with Flow Forming Technology increases the tensile strength of a wheel design, this also yields a higher load rating in comparison to a conventional cast wheel. This again translates to a stronger wheel.
