This functional, solid log saw has especially been designed for effort-less and safe cutting of firewood for private homes and farm holidays
Technique and operation of this implement are functionally matches. Even big logs are easily and safety cut with little effort. As a specialist for cutting firewood, the log saw WS 500 is noted for its compact design, ease of operation and high performance. It is treated with the powder paint enamelling process well-tried with all the Scheppach machines, that not only enhances its appearance but provides most effective protection from corrosion.
Because of the canted motor fitting, the exceptional cutting height of 180 mm us achieved. By turning the log, the cutting height is increased to 350 mm. The favourably placed see-saw pivot and the 600 mm wide log support allow for effortless working. After sawing a log, the sawing table folds automatiically back into its original position. Also very handy: the sawdust is discharged to the back, keeping the place of operation fairly clean from sawdust. With the wheels supplied as standard, the machine is easily moved. The sawblade is quickly changed by folding down the protective cover.
