ASE GROUP OF COMPANIES started its business in aftermarket automotive parts with the formation of ASE Auto Sdn Bhd in April, 2000. During its inception, the company focused on the production of auto suspension parts, particularly for passenger vehicles with a mere 25 employees in a small factory in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
With the vast experience and good connection in the industry, the company ventured into production of other automotive parts over the years. In 2006, due to the requests of its’ customers, ASE expanded their involvement into Steering Racks production lines for various car made via a newly incorporated company, Sterod Auto Sdn Bhd. Over the years, ASE has invested in the Research and Development in the manufacturing of aftermarket automotive parts and has become a renowned name in Malaysia automotive parts industry, carrying the brand name of Three Ring and TR Brand that symbolise quality and reliability in the market.
In 2016, ASE added another product line in its list with involvement in Rubber Automotive Parts for both passenger and commercial vehicles, under the umbrella of ASE Rubber Industries Sdn Bhd. At the same time, OAM Automotive (Intl) Sdn Bhd was established as the marketing arm to bring the company’s products into the global market.
Today, ASE group of companies consists of 6 companies, each carries its strength in their respective fields of expertise, with the vision of providing Quality, Reliability and Service to its clients. The group of companies has also grown into having 100 employees, residing in 3 main cities in Malaysia, namely Penang, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
