Sidney Industries Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 1990 as a private limited company. Sidney commenced operations with Press blowers / Injection Blow Moulders, 4-Colour Offset Printing Machine, Hot-stamping Machines and Ultrasonic Plastic Welders. In line with our growth rate, further capital investments were made in 1994 to bring in Press blowers / Injection Blow Moulders, 5-Colour Offset Printing Machine, Hot-stamping Machines and Ultrasonic Plastic Welders.
Favourable demands in Year 1999 created another opportunity for us whereby additional Press blowers / Injection Blow Moulders, Labelling Machines, Hot-Air Plastic Welders and Stretch Blow Machine (PET) were brought into our company.
In tandem with the demand for more innovative packaging, we have invested prudently in state-of-the-art machinery, such as the PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) Containers by Sidel, France. Quality plastic tubes production line by Breyer, Germany & Aisa, Switzerland and 5-Colour Offset UV Printing Machine by Calf, Italy adopt the finest technologies of stretch blow moulding, extrusion, compression-heading and offset printing in Year 2001. With this, we expanded into new packaging namely PE Tubes and PET Bottles.
As a trusted supplier to many well known local brands and a leading manufacturer, we continued to multiply our capital investment in 2002.
A 3.28-acre parcel of land was acquired for expansion in order to increase capacity. A Combitool machine from Switzerland was brought in. To improve cap-tightness consistency and delivery time, new capping machines were added in 2005.
To grow the company further and to satisfy stringent quality requirements, we are proud of our business expansion in 2009 which included the addition of an 8-Colour Stationed Flexo Printing Machine by Omso, Italy. A 5-layer Extrusion by Breyer, Germany was bought in Year 2013. At this juncture, we are planning further expansion to accommodate our continuing modernisation.
In the area of product development, our technical staff are constantly working on new blends and new process conditions in order to improve the quality and aesthetics value of our plastic tubes.
