vData has been appointed as solution provider to implement its PeopleHCM Suite for a local grocer convenience shop. The company has grown to be one of the fast-growing grocer convenience shop with over 500 staffs and 45 outlets in Klang Valley.
Challenges that Distribution & Retailer encountered:
X Staff Rostering issue across 45 outlets & more than 400 working shift patterns.
X Staff need to work multiple cost centers in one day and payroll cost need to charged belongs to working cost center with time period.
X High staffs movement and need a way to audit staff headcounts before payroll computation.
X High risk on abuse overtime claims without process control.
X Employees need to have flexi pay rate ( hourly to montly and vice versa) within one pay period.
X Heavy usage of spreadsheets that has little or data integrity in the process.
For this project, vData will deploy payroll, Leave, attendance, overtime, claims modules as well as management dashboard. Payroll & attendance will be one of the common challenges for retailers. All the attendance record will be automatically captured into payroll without any manual intervention from users. Not only with this reduce the current manual data entry and checking, it provides the data accuracy & consistency for management better planning.
