PE 300/500/1000 (POLYETHYLENE)
Polyethylene PE300 sheet - HDPE is a lightweight and strong engineering plastic with high impact strength. It also has excellent chemical resistance with very low moisture absorption and is FDA approved. HDPE can also be fabricated and welded.
- Temperature: -50°C to +80°C
- Key Features: Lightweight, strong, good resistance to chemicals and low temperatures. Low moisture absorption.
- Applications: Chutes, silos, tanks and hoppers.
Polyethylene PE500 sheet - HMWPE offers increased wear resistance and impact strength compared to HDPE. It is extremely strong with excellent resistance to chemicals and low temperatures. PE500 - HMWPE also has very low moisture absorption and excellent non-stick properties.
- Temperature: -100°C to +80°C
- Key Features: High impact strength and resistance to shock, good electrical insulation, excellent resistance to chemicals and low temperatures, low moisture absorption and excellent non-stick properties.
- Applications: Buffers, cutting boards, chopping boards, change parts and protection strips.
Polyethylene PE1000 sheet - UHMW offers a higher wear resistance and impact strength compared to PE300 and PE500. It is extremely strong with excellent wear resistance due to a very low coefficient of friction. It also has excellent chemical resistance and very low moisture absorption. Polyethylene PE1000 sheet - UHMW is food contact approved if supplied in virgin grade

Black Colour: -150°C to +80°C (+120°C short term). - Key Features: Very low coefficient of friction, performs well at low temperatures and very low moisture absorption.
- Applications: Chain guides, cutting boards, scrapers, star wheels, wear strips, conveyor equipment and chute linings.
