Push back rack systems are a high density storage solution. The advantage of a push back rack system is that all loads are stored and retrieved from the same aisle. This reduces the number of aisles needed in a facility, freeing up more space for storage. In addition, loads stored within a single level of a push back system can be completely loaded and unloaded independently of other levels, providing more selectivity than other high density systems such as drive-in racks.
Push back rack systems provide a Last-In-First-Out (FILO) inventory rotation.
