Eye Screening at LHDN Cawangan Pulau Pinang

14 October 2019 - Focus Optometry in collaboration with Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) Cawangan Pulau Pinang organised Program Derma Darah Minggu Kesihatan 2019 at Tingakatan 7, Bangunan Dewan Perniagaan Melayu. The campaign was part of awareness programme to expose the public the importance of donating blood for those in need and helping replenish the General Hospital Blood Bank. At the same time, our company provided free eye tests to increase public knowledge on all macular conditions and how to prevent them. Our team of staffs and optometrist have provided all the employees amsler grid and given proper instruction to check their macula condition. Besides that, we have introduce our Ampro HD clip on to the employees by showing them how much the Ampro HD clip on could filter harmful blue light with our anti blue light test machine. Throughout the process, we have overwhelming response from them, especially for the employees whom have suffered from eye fatigue from using computer for longer period and shown improvement in contrast sensitivity for the older generation.
