Fire Preventor’s Society (FPS) is "A proud and committed organization (NGO) legally registered in ROS or JPP"
Our Members: this society is mainly formed by a group of enthusiastic youngsters whom were all trained by local FIRE BRIGADE TEAM or BOMBA,both theory or practical. Each individual is recognised as PKK or FIRE SQUAD member upon completing the training program set by the BOMBA.Besides these, we also conduct our own in-house training which was provided by some senior trainers whom had qualified to involved in such activities, both have to prove to publics that they at least hold a certificate from the authority (BOMBA) to carry out such activity and program.
Our Mission is to reduce fire deaths and injuries across the nation by increasing the awareness of fire prevention through direct education to the public - making our communities and our citizens safer.
Our Activities: We have well trained speakers or lecturers to conduct talks which mainly cover topics about fire prevention, this will eventually helps audiences to familiarise themselves more towards to the hazardous of fire and what are the correct preventive methods taken in order to minimise casualties and losses should fire outbreaks. This training is usually held at the audience's own premise;factories,banks,schools,government departments, offices and even their own home. Who should get involved? Well, the answer is all ages! young children, senior citizens and women were usually identified as 'highly at risk' group base on the statistic of sacrificed victims for the past decades, hence, our society is actively providing this crucial in formations and knowledge to schools, hoping in the near future we can help our young generation to create a safer and better living environment. We are confident that our comprehensive courses of programs ranging from 45 minutes to one hour sessions designed to give our audience a basic understanding of fire risk; you will enjoy the highest quality and most up to date training.
